Rachel Adams, Senior Vice President at T-Mobile is an accomplished executive leader with substantive experience as in-house legal general counsel.
Rachel manages the Company’s Litigation, Antitrust, Intellectual Property and Government Investigations. Rachel serves as a valued and trusted advisor to senior executives on legal implications and risk assessment of critical business strategies. Rachel’s expertise also includes Global WW Government Relations.
Recognized for transformative leadership, financial and multi-cultural acumen, and strong analytical and executive communication skills, Rachel has expansive knowledge of regulations and laws in numerous regions of the world – especially China and the U.S. She has established long-lasting relationships with federal, state, and local government agencies like the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the European Union Competition Bureau and has demonstrated success in handling competition investigations in the State Administration for Industry & Commerce and corporate transactions in China’s Ministry of Commerce. Rachel has developed a robust network that includes former White House officials, congressional leaders, and policy makers.
Prior to joining T-Mobile, Rachel was Lenovo’s General Counsel for its $55B PC Business unit, and led its WW Government Relations team. She also was a Partner at Howrey LLP where she assembled a record of outstanding achievements as a successful external counsel representing large global Fortune 100 clients in the technology, energy, infrastructure, and financial sectors.
Previously, she served as Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable R. Guy Cole, Jr. in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Rachel received her Juris Doctorate from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. Rachel resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and son. She is an avid runner and enjoys paddle boarding, mountain biking, and skiing.
