Voter Registration Deadline: 21 days before Election Day (October 12) in-person, online, or by mail
Early voting in New Jersey runs from 10 days before a general election to two days before a general election. For the 2021 state elections, early voting will run from October 24 – October 31. Contact your county election official for more information on how to return your ballot.

Restoration of Voting Rights After Felony Convictions: The right to vote is automatically restored for felons after the completion of their parole or probation.
ID Requirements for Voting: ID only required for first time voters.
Absentee Voting: Any registered New Jersey voter can request an absentee ballot. Voters must download the application online and mail it to their County Clerk at least 7 days before the election, or hand it in the day before. Download the application here.
