Election Rules
Voter Registration Deadline: 30 days before Election Day in-person and by mail, 20 days before Election Day online

Restoration of Voting Rights After Felony Convictions: The right to vote is automatically restored for felons after the completion of their parole or probation.
ID Requirements for Voting: Photo ID is required, if no ID is shown, then the voter must sign an affidavit affirming their identity.
Ranked Choice Voting: Military and oversees voters use ranked choice voting in state and federal runoff elections.
Absentee Voting: An excuse is required to request an absentee ballot. Voters can access the application online and submit it online, or mail it to their Registrar of Voters’ office at least 4 days before the election. View the list of excuses and the application here.
