Voter Registration Deadline: 29 days before Election Day online, in-person, or by mail, certain military or overseas voters have an extended deadline
Early voting in Indiana runs from 28 days before the election until the day before the election. Contact your county clerk’s office for early voting locations.

Restoration of Voting Rights After Felony Convictions: The right to vote is automatically restored for felons after their release from incarceration.
ID Requirements for Voting: Photo ID is required. If an ID is not shown, you can cast a provisional ballot and show a photo ID within 6 days of the election.
Absentee Voting: All registered Indiana voters are eligible to vote absentee-in-person at the county election board office beginning 28 days before the election. In order to vote absentee-by-mail you must have an excuse. Applications for mail ballots must be received at least 12 days before Election Day.
