Gretchen Carlson Leadership Initiative in Dallas, TX

In November, AIT launched the Gretchen Carlson Leadership Initiative (GCLI) in Dallas, TX. Our programming reached women from diverse backgrounds–from working women to college students to survivors of domestic violence–through three signature events:

November 2nd: AIT National Women’s Civic Leadership Program

November 3rd: Advocacy 101 Workshop at Texas Christian University

November 4th: GCLI Community Workshop with The Family Place

Featured speakers included Chief Renee Hall (Chief of Police, Dallas Police Department), Judge Faith Johnson (District Attorney, Dallas County), Sheriff Lupe Valdez (Sheriff, Dallas County), and other notable women. The panelists inspired attendees with stories of how they overcame hardship in order to make a difference in their communities, as well as actionable steps to take in order to get involved.
