Women of All Parties Support Paid Family Leave and Childcare Subsidies
All In Together polls from May 2023, found broad support across political parties for federal legislation providing paid family leave and childcare subsidies. Childcare subsidies from the Build Back Better bill will end in September, which may increase the prices of childcare and make the shortage of childcare providers more pronounced. Voters are concerned about the issue, with 72% of voters thinking it is very or somewhat likely that childcare will become harder to afford in their local area next year.
