Simone Leiro is the Engagement Lead for All In Together. She leads partnerships with both community organizations across the country, and major Fortune 500 corporations. She also heads program development and expansion to advance AIT’s work to ensure women have the tools and resources necessary to fully engage at all levels of the political system.
Previously, Simone served in the White House under President Obama in the Office of Digital Strategy as the Associate Director of Online Engagement. While at the White House, she worked to make government more responsive and accessible through digital tools. In this role, she also focused on issues impacting women and Latinx Americans. Prior to her role at the White House, Simone worked for Bully Pulpit Interactive, creating digital campaigns for a variety of political, advocacy, and corporate clients.
Additionally, she recently served as an advisor to the March For Our Lives, a nationwide demonstration to protest gun violence, where she worked on digital production and content. Presently, she is also an advisor to Blue Future, a youth-led civic engagement startup focused on organizing young people around progressive campaigns.
Simone graduated cum laude from New York University with a degree in Politics and minor in Public Policy and Management. She was also recently named a 2018 Ricardo Salinas Scholar for the Aspen Institute’s Socrates Scholar program.
Simone currently serves as a Wish Granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and a volunteer with the Be Loud! Sophie Foundation for adolescents and young adults living with cancer. She was born and raised in North Carolina and currently lives in New York City.
