Kimball Stroud serves as a strategic advisor to AIT. Kimball began her political career in Washington as Manager of Special Events at the 1992 Inaugural Committee for President William Jefferson Clinton. After her work at PIC, she joined the fundraising team at the Democratic National Committee as Southern Finance Director and then as the Director of National Fundraising for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Following her committee work, she served as Senator Barbara Boxer’s National Finance Director for the 1998 and 2004 election cycles. She started her own firm, Kimball Stroud & Associates, Inc. in January 1999. The firm has worked for many high-profile elected officials including former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Leader Nancy Pelosi, and the Blue Dog Coalition.
She has served as a fundraising consultant and event manager for several non-profit organizations including The Edward M. Kennedy Center for the Study of the United States Senate, The Faith & Politics Institute, The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, The Roosevelt Institute, The LBJ Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, The Creative Coalition, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, The Chef’s Action Network, Children’s National Foundation, The American Film Institute, and The National Park Service.
