Dinah Clottey is AIT’s summer Community Engagement Intern and rising third year student at the University of Chicago, studying Sociology with a minor in Human Rights. Dinah is an advocate for ensuring diversity and inclusion for marginalized groups both on and off campus. Last summer, she worked as an Organizer and the Communications Fellow for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign in Iowa. She was also elected the co-president of the Organization of Black Students, one of the largest multicultural organizations on campus. During the school year, Dinah works as a Student Coordinator at the Center for College Student Success. She is also involved heavily in the Institute of Politics, engaging in different cohorts like Leaders of Color and Women+ in Public Service. She was recently awarded the Student Leadership Recognition and Access Award by Student Government for her immense contributions to the campus community.
