Denita Jones

Dallas Cohort

Denita is a mother and community advocate. Her advocacy passion is speaking up and bringing attention to the needs of students with learning disabilities and students that have come in contact with the juvenile justice system.  She wants to bring awareness to all that there should be adequate funding within the school system that can address the needs of “ALL” students, whether it is through resources, accommodations or social and emotional wellness counseling.  Denita believes that we must serve the whole child.
