Tara Hogan Charles is the Senior Director for Racial Equity Partnerships and Programs for The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). Prior to this, she was an Associate Director, Global Government Relations & Public Policy, at P&G. Located in Washington, DC, Hogan Charles is responsible for helping P&G navigate the legislative and public policy landscape covering a broad portfolio including advertising, digital marketing, intellectual property, brand protection, healthcare, privacy, cybersecurity, and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to joining the Government Relations team, Hogan Charles worked for eleven years in P&G’s Legal Division in Cincinnati, OH. Tara served as Senior Counsel to the Global Antitrust and Trade Relations group, focusing on promotion and pricing policies and antitrust analysis, and to the Global Transactions team responsible for acquisitions and divestitures. As Legal Counsel Hogan Charles advised several billion dollar brands on advertising and contract matters.
Hogan Charles received her B.A. in Political Science and German from Agnes Scott College, and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
