Melanie « Mel » Denson is a Senior Communications Manager at P&G serving Old Spice. Before this role, Mel led communication strategies for P&G Beauty brands Head & Shoulders, My Black is Beautiful, Aussie, Gold Series by Pantene, and NOU. Beyond communications, Mel also supports P&G equity & inclusion impact efforts.

Over the last decade, Mel has dedicated her career to improving systems and policies so that every child and their family has a fair chance at success. Her background includes serving as Communications & Public Affairs Director for a Cincinnati Council Member, Sr Agency Content Strategist, and Communications and Engagement Lead for several non-profit organizations and local + state ballot campaigns.

Mel earned a Bachelor’s in Communications and a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Cincinnati. Born and raised in Cincinnati, a mother of one, and a friend of many, Mel has a heart for the queen city and strives to make it a better place to live, learn, work and play. Outside of work, Mel enjoys raising her son Harper and anything related to soccer and arts.
