Janelle King is a rapidly rising star in the world of Conservative politics. She is the former Deputy State Director for the Georgia Republican Party. Today she puts her belief into practice by serving as Co-Chair of her husband’s initiative, “Let’s Win For America Action .” Together they’re tackling poor messaging and misinformation directed toward minority communities.
She is a Fox News commentator, a Panelist on the Fox 5 Atlanta Television show “The Georgia Gang,” and a rotating panelist on Fox News’s “The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton” and “Varney and Company” on Fox Business Network.
Janelle is a top advisor to the GOP for community engagement, public affairs, and diversity initiatives. She has become indispensable in that role due to her impressive and consistent demonstration of her ability to forge relationships between state and national elected officials, top donors, GOP leaders, and those they serve.
Her earliest years in politics date back over ten years, starting as an intern, leading the charge in minority engagement, and eventually becoming a Field Director, a Regional Field Director, a Data Coordinator, and ultimately the Deputy State Director of the GAGOP. Throughout her professional career, she has learned a lot about the social aspect of politics and effective communication techniques.
She currently serves on the Georgia Board of Corrections, the DC-based- Yellow Ribbon Fund, and the Concerned Black Clergy of Greater Atlanta. She has also formerly served in the following roles: Board member and VP of Events for The League of Women Voters Atlanta- Fulton Chapter, Vice President of Political Affairs and board member for the Atlanta Young Republicans, Community Affairs Director and Board Member of the Georgia Young Republicans, and Chair of the Georgia Black Republican Council. She is a native of New Haven, Connecticut, raised in North Carolina, and a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology; she also holds a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is married to a business owner, Air Force Veteran, former US Senate Candidate Kelvin King, and a bonus mom to Christian Ward.
