Dr. Kimberly Myers is a leader in our GPS Health practice at Deloitte, with over 15 years of experience working with clients across the healthcare and scientific ecosystem, including federal agencies, nonprofits, and industry.
She currently serves as the GPS DEI Leader and the LCP for Health and Science Nonprofit Organizations. Dr. Myers earned a Ph.D. in Virology from Harvard University and a B.S. in Biology (with a microbiology emphasis) from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a strategist helping organizations understand current trends and drivers; envision future scenarios; develop data, sustainability, and other strategies; leverage data assets to meet mission needs; build analytics platforms to drive new therapeutic development; and develop strategic relationships between governmental agencies, advocacy organizations, and industry companies to accelerate success of program efforts.
In her former job with the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, she led the development of plans, policies, funding opportunities, and procedures on behalf of national biobanking efforts in support of precision medicine. Additionally, she aided in the development of innovation ecosystems and novel small business funding opportunities designed to advance the movement of products from lab to commercialization and into the market.
In her role as GPS DEI Lead, Dr. Myers is particularly interested in and attuned to the talent and DEI experiences of our practitioners, viewing the topic through a number of lenses, including navigating the firm while embracing her multiple identities.be
